Classes > Workshop Course

Course Overview

A real hands-on day, held right here among the action of my own workshop at Midhurst, Students will learn the basics of freehand brush lettering and sign writing in a fun and creative atmosphere.

While it is true that the skills of the traditional signwriter take a long time to learn and even longer to master, This informal workshop will cover the tools, paints and processes of traditional signwriting, and learning the essential brush control techniques and basics of Block, and classic lettering styles.

Students will then design, and signwrite their own unique panel sign to take home.

All materials, paints, brushes, tea, coffee, and a light lunch,  will be provided, Classes are limited to small numbers so everyone gets a fair chance at some one to one tuition as well as mixing with other like-minded creative individuals.
