I had a blast teaching a group of ten budding signwriters on Monday 4th July at the Weald and Downland Open air Museum at Singleton.
The students learnt some traditional signwriting skills and had a go at simple block and Roman lettering under my tough supervision, before being let loose on their own colourful painted sign panels in the afternoon.
All the students produced work to be proud of and the final panels where stunning!
Everyone,( including myself) enjoyed the day immensely,( so much so- we went on long after packing up time )
